The Northern Territory medical flights delayed again

Katherine is a town situated 320 km southeast of Darwin in the top end of Australia. The Northern Territory health department says there have been further delays to the reintroduction of full aero-medical services.Night flights of fixed wing aircraft were suspended at the Tindal Air Base more than 18 months ago because of wallabies on the runway.A wallaby-proof fence has been built to keep the animals away from the airstrip and full services were to resume today.A spokesman for the health department says it is still making sure the wallabies are not causing problems and expects night flights to begin later this week.
