Tiger Airways will be offering four additional weekly flight services to Chennai, effective October 25, 2009 in addition to the existing daily flights. As part of the celebration of its increased capacity to this destination, the airline is offering low fares for travel to Chennai, starting USD 160 one way.
In addition to the Chennai flights, the airline also offers flights five times a week to Bengaluru. The increased frequency to Chennai reflects the airline’s focus on India as a key destination. In total, Tiger Airways will have 32 flights per week between Singapore and India. Rosalynn Tay, Managing Director, Tiger Airways Singapore said, We noticed increased demand for our Indian flights. In appreciation of passengers who have chosen to fly with us, we are launching extra flights so that more and more passengers can continue to enjoy our low fares. We are also encouraged by the strong demand of our flights by businessmen, holidaymakers and the Indian community in the region.
