Yesterday Flights to Luanda , Angola has been launched by Emirates airline which will be it's 18 destinations in Africa.During week three flights between Dubai Luanda will be operated.The airline is serving Nigeria since 2004 and now Angola has been added to the list of Countries served by Emirates airline.
More than 20 leading travel agents from Angola visited Dubai for a four day familiarisation trip.During the July 19-23rd tour, representatives saw some of Dubai's architectural wonders - the Palm Jumeirah, the Burj Dubai and the emerging Dubai Metro system, to name but a few.The new non stop air link also comes at a time of aggressive trade growth between Dubai and Angola. In 2004, non-oil trade between the two sides was about Dh235 million, according to statistics from Dubai World, the Dubai Government's investment arm. Last year that figure had leapt to more than Dh2.9 billion.
