Flight from Salina to Denve

If you keep thinking it would be fun to hop a flight from Salina to Denver, better hurry.
As of Dec. 1, Great Lakes Airlines is canceling its Salina Denver route, but will continue its current schedule of flights to and from Kansas City.Since March 2008, Great Lakes has flown two round trip flights to Kansas City on weekdays, one round trip flight on Saturday and Sunday, and one flight a day to and from Denver, said Monica Taylor, spokeswoman for Great Lakes.

The Kansas City flights are part of the federally subsidized Essential Air Service program, and Great Lakes is required to provide those flights as part of the program, Taylor said.
The Denver flights were really kind of a bonus route, that wasn’t really profitable to us and wasn’t required through the airline’s Essential Air Service contract.
