Travel Angels decided to open in Chard

HOLIDAY happiness has returned to Chard with the opening of another new store for the town centre in time for the festive season.Mayor of Chard, Cllr Jill Shortland, officially declared travel agents open on Monday morning as Town Crier Stuart Cummings gave a hearty welcome to the business.

Cllr Shortland said Welcome to Chard, I’m really pleased to see the shop re opening and it’s absolutely fantastic to have another empty shop being used.I wish you every success and I hope that you will be here for a very long time to come, especially as the shop is painted in the town colours! Manager Sally James said We are thrilled to be here and are very pleased that Travel Angels decided to open in Chard.We are looking forward to welcoming experienced and first time travellers.
