Flights to Chicago

Air Choice One, a Missouri based airline, announced it has secured a gate and ground handling at O'Hare Airport in Chicago, Ill., the first carrier of its size to do so.The is especially good news for the Southeast Iowa Regional Airport to have service to both Lambert St. Louis International Airport in St. Louis, Mo. and O'Hare Airport in Chicago.Beginning Jan. 27, Air Choice One will offer two round trip flights a day to St. Louis and two round trip flights a day to Chicago O'Hare with a slightly reduced schedule on weekends. The new air link will provide Burlington with connections to over 1,000 flights that serve over 300 cities worldwide.

Great Lakes Airline will be providing service for Burlington to Kansas City, Mo. until such time as Air Choice One begins operations on Jan. 27.The new service will conduct four round trip flights a day using the popular Cessna Caravan aircraft. Flights depart for St. Louis at 6 a.m., 12:05 p.m. and arrive back at Southeast Iowa Regional Airport at 8:20 a.m. and 5 p.m. Flights depart for Chicago at 8:35 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. and arrive back at Southeast Iowa Regional Airport at 11:50 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.Air Choice One is a scheduled commuter airline currently providing airline service connecting passengers to Lambert St. Louis International Airport.
