Cheap flights to Tenerife to enjoy shopping

Whether touring the sights or indulging in a bit of retail therapy, travellers have numerous options to choose from after booking cheap flights to Tenerife.Javier Blanco from Tenerife Tourism underlined how the Canary Islands destination has many decent shopping centres and as a result is now considered a luxury destination.

He recommended visitors head to the ancient monument city San Cristobal or one of the island's national parks Teide is its most famous.Meanwhile, families could enjoy an afternoon splashing around at Tenerife's aqua attraction Siam Park, where there are numerous slides, wave machines and spots for soaking up a bit of sun.Mr Blanco remarked: We encourage people to travel around the island, to experience local food, our gastronomy, our local cities and the small towns on the island.Recently-published data from Tenerife Tourism revealed that 3,545,799 visitors headed to the Canary Islands destination between January and September 2009, of which 1,065,547 were British travellers.
