Flights canceled for weather

Airlines canceled nine scheduled nonstop flights Wednesday between Sea Tac Airport and airports in snowbound Washington, D.C. New York and Philadelphia.United Airlines canceled three Sea-Tac-Washington, D.C., trips. Alaska Airlines canceled a single flight to the nation’s capital and a flight to Newark’s Liberty Airport. Continental Airlines erased two flights to Newark from its schedule. Delta Air Lines halted a trip to New York’s JFK airport, and U.S. Airways canceled a flight to Philadelphia from Sea-Tac.Today’s flight schedules will depend on how quickly those East Coast airports are able to recover from the snowstorm.
