Flights delayed by bad weather

The record-setting East Coast snowstorm that has dumped almost a foot of snow near the White House has caused some flights to be cancelled, according to the Chicago Department of Aviation.

Seventy-five flights had been canceled due to the snowstorm this afternoon at O'Hare International Airport, and about two dozen flights had been canceled at Midway International Airport, according to a department media recording, which had last been updated at 3:30 p.m. There were no delays tied to the weather reported.Information on flight delays was scheduled to be updated again about 7 a.m. Sunday, according to the department.
