In the fall 2010, flights will operate Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Air Canada will also continue to operate its regular service to Montego Bay.Marcel Forget, vice president of network planning at Air Canada, said: Air Canada has been serving Jamaica for 62 years. Over that time, Canada and Jamaica have built close ties due to business connections, by having families living in both countries and through a vibrant tourism market.

Air transport plays a vital role in maintaining these relationships and, with recent changes in the Jamaican airline industry, Air Canada wants to ensure that there is sufficient capacity linking Canada and Jamaica to meet the demand. As a result, we will be increasing our flights to up to five times a week this summer, more than doubling our current level of service.
