Southwest has a new offer for travelers who are headed to New England. The airline is offering double Rapid Rewards credit for
flights from Baltimore to the Boston area. Fly from BWI to Providence, Boston or
Manchester and receive two credits for a one-way flight. That's four credits for the mathematically challenged for a round-trip flight. You only need 16 Rapid Reward credits to earn a free flight, so a
flight to Boston this spring would take you 25 percent of the way. The offer is good from today through May 26. Also, you have to register for the promotion before booking your flight.Southwest isn't the only airline trying to tempt travelers this spring. Both AirTran and JetBlue have sales ongoing this week. AirTran has flights from BWI to Boston and Charlotte starting at $54 each way. JetBlue has a round-trip flights from BWI to Boston for $78.
