China is adding 28 flights a week between Hong Kong and Shanghai's secondary airport a move that will cut travel time between the financial hubs.There are already 56 flights a day between Hong Kong International Airport and Shanghai's main hub, Pudong International Airport. The new flights to Hongqiao International Airport will bring travelers closer to the city's bustling downtown.
The Hong Kong government said Friday talks with individual airlines are ongoing.Officials hope to launch the flights by October.
