Flight between Auckland and Mumbai

Air New Zealand will operate a direct flight between Auckland and Mumbai soon after it takes delivery of its fleet of new Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, Prime Minister John Key said.He made the announcement at the India Independence Day celebrations organised by the Bhartiya Samaj Charitable Trust in Auckland today August 15.

Mr Key said the Government’s recent decision to make it compulsory for all taxies in major cities to be fitted with security cameras would improve the safety and security of taxi drivers and passengers.We are also determined to raise the standard of education and it is heartening to note that Indian students do well in their studies, Mr Key said.A detailed report appears in our India Independence Special
