Passenger capacity per week will increase by 40% with the addition of the flights, according to Air France's general manager in Chile, Thibaud Morand.Morand said the company was increasing the flights between Santiago and Paris because in the last season, the occupancy rate was higher than 90%. He said the company expected demand to remain high.To increase tourist travel to Chile, from Dec. 17 to Jan. 17, three of the weekly flights will be on Boeing 777-300s.
Regionally, Air France also offers flights between Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Bogotá.
