Flights to Denver start by Frontier Airlines

Low-fare carrier Frontier Airlines will begin offering nonstop flights to Denver beginning Oct. 24, the airline announced today.Special introductory fares $59 each way are available on FrontierAirlines.com for a limited time beginning today.Frontier said the new 99-seat planes will leave Denver at 3:10 p.m. six days a week no Saturdays and land in Des Moines at 5:45 p.m. Planes will leave Des Moines at 6:15 p.m. and land in Denver at 7:15 p.m.

The biggest thing we're bringing to the community will be low-fare access to the West, said Daniel Shurz, Frontier's vice president of strategy and planning.Frontier, which currently flies out of Des Moines to Milwaukee, also serves 20 cities west of Denver.
