American Airlines and its regional carrier, American Eagle, will increase service to and from Mexico due to increased demand and a suspension of flights by Mexicana Airlines.The Fort Worth, Texas, airline said it will add trips on nine American or American Eagle routes, plus it will sell tickets for local and connecting service on Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air flights from Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego to 10 Mexican cities.
American and American Eagle will add daily round trips on the Dallas-Fort Worth to Mexico City, Miami to Mexico City, Miami to Cancun, Chicago to Mexico City, Dallas-Fort Worth to Guadalajara, Dallas-Fort Worth to Aguascalientes, Dallas-Fort Worth to Leon, Dallas-Fort Worth to Veracruz and Dallas-Fort Worth to Queretaro routes. Some of the new trips are to start in November, while others begin in December or February.
