Frontier Airline announced flights from the Midwest to California and Florida

While not officially out hometown airline, Frontier Airlines still has a major presence in the Mile High City including hub and service operations. The overall fiscal health and growth of the airline is important to the Metro Denver economy.The airline just announced additional service/routes including:Nonstop between Omaha (OMA) and San Diego (SAN) and Los Angeles (LAX). Ticket sales for the Omaha/California routes started on September 2nd. In addition, from the Omaha market, Frontier Airlines is resuming nonstop seasonal flight to Orlando (MCO) and St. Petersburg/Clearwater (PIE) with flights to begin on January 16th. Ticket sales for the seasonal service begin on September 5th.

Also of note for those in the Milwaukee area, the seasonal flight between Milwaukee (MKE) and Tampa (TPA) has been revised. Beginning on November 18th, 2010, the route will change to St. Petersburg/Clearwater. Those passengers booked on the MKE to TPA flights post 11/18 will be notified concerning their itinerary revision. Of note the St. Petersburg/Clearwater Airport is approximately 12 miles from the Tampa Airport.
