Luton Airport has announced flights to ski resorts across Europe are now on sale.Working with a range of airlines, Luton says the flights offer access to a multitude of skiing gateways that serve hundreds of resorts.Among the famous pistes that are within reach of ski lovers are the Men's Olympic Downhill run at Val d'Isere in France and terrifying Harakiri, the steepest slope in Austria, at the resort of Mayerhofen.
Easyjet flight to Geneva, Grenoble and Turin for access to the western side of the Alps.Further east, Wizz Air has flights to Sofia for the likes of Bansko in Bulgaria and Thomson Airways offers a service to Salzburg in the Austrian Alps.Ryanair, meanwhile, has a service to Girona near Barcelona that links skiers in the UK with the Pyrenees.Announcing the flights, Luton Airport's business development officer Simon Harley said:There are a number of ski destinations available between November and March from London Luton Airport, providing passengers with an extensive choice of winter sports holiday options at convenient flight times.Ryanair also has a flight to Turin that departs from London Stansted Airport.
