United Airlines to start flights from Tulsa to Washington DC

United Airlines announced Thursday that non-stop flights will be offered from Tulsa to Washington D.C.'s Dulles International Airport beginning April 3.Officials say the service will be on 70-passenger regional jets, with flights departing from Tulsa International Airport at 12:15 p.m. daily and returning to Tulsa about 8:40 p.m.Washington, D.C., is the eighth most popular destination for Tulsa travelers.Mayor Dewey Bartlett says non-stop flight service from Tulsa to Washington has been sought for years.
