Flights were cancelled

An Air India flight to Mumbai was cancelled Sunday and another delayed because of a shift of terminals at Delhi airport.AI 348 from Shanghai to Mumbai was delayed at Delhi airport for over three hours because of problems with handling of baggage at terminal T3, an Air India official said.
IC-805 to Mumbai was cancelled at Delhi because the international flight from Frankfurt arrived a little late and the airline could not ferry all passengers to the boarding gate on time. Passengers were or would be accommodated on subsequent flights to Mumbai, officials said.

Kingfisher and Jet Airways too started operating from the new terminal but airport sources said the teething problems they faced were not as acute as what AI went through. A Kingfisher spokesperson said the transition went off smoothly and Jet said it was uneventful.
