Qatar Airways Increases flights to Doha from Manchester

It has been revealed by Qatar Airways that they are to increase their flights to Doha from Manchester. The airline that currently only offers one flight per day between the two cities will be doubling the service from June 1st. And with Qatar Airways committed to using an Airbus A330 for the route, individuals will find more Business Class and Economy Class fares available.Increasing services to two daily flights, Manchester airport will see one morning and afternoon travel option leaving at 10.00 and 14.55 respectively. Return flights meanwhile will leave Doha at such times to have passengers back in the UK for 07.30 and 13.25.

The move is important for Qatar Airlines as it will not only allow more passenger choice but increase options for connections throughout the airline's network. This change in turn will allow travellers based in the North West further opportunities to visit the rapidly expanding markets of the Middle East.Speaking of the move to increase services the chief executive officer of Qatar Airways, Akbar Al Baker, said Manchester has long proved to be one of our successful routes so it was only a matter of time before we could deploy additional capacity into this market." Mr Baker added that the extra services would continue their commitment to the area and offer the possibility to increase both commercial and cargo capacities. With each flight offering 30 Business Class seats equipped with lie-flat seats, extra baggage allowances, and premium menus', business travellers will especially welcome this news.
