Flights to Portland-Salem reportedly are in the works

Seaport Airlines plans to make daily flights between Portland and Salem this spring.The Statesman Journal on Wednesday was unable to confirm the report.Salem Municipal Airport hasn’t had regularly scheduled passenger air service since October 2008. Delta Air Lines provided flights from Salem via connection carrier SkyWest Airlines for only about a year before canceling the service.
