International study opportunities will be showcased this year’s Swinburne Abroad Expo

The expo will feature Swinburne’s international partner universities, past and current exchange students as well as information about the $850,000 worth of exchange scholarships available.Prizes from Lonely Planet, as well as flight and accommodation vouchers from STA and Reho Travel will also be up for grabs.Swinburne Abroad manager Xenia Haysom said the expo will be bigger and better than last year, with around 1000 students expected to attend.Students can also get a lot of exposure while studying in such universities and different course Engineering,Master of Landscape Architecture and Mechatronics.

Swinburne has one of the highest student mobility rates of any university in Australia and we are aiming to send a record number of students abroad over the next two years, Haysom said.
This is an opportunity to highlight the many options available to current students including those offered by our partner universities.Representatives from Swinburne’s international partners in Austria, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany and Mexico will attend, along with staff from The Canadian High Commission, Lonely Planet, STA Travel, Reho Travel and The Global Student.The expo is part of the seventh Australian Exchange Fair Circuit organised by the International Education Association of Australia.It will take place on Monday 28 March from 10am to 2pm in the Atrium at Swinburne's Hawthorn campus.
