Montana State University's Office of International Programs will host the annual Spring Study Abroad Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, in Ballroom A of the MSU Strand Union Building. The fairs will give students an opportunity to learn more about the various options for study abroad at MSU, including summer, semester and year-long study abroad programs, volunteer opportunities, different course and internships. Students and faculty can get first-hand information by talking to past study abroad students, international students, and MSU' OIP staff at the fair. OIP holds two study abroad fairs per year: a fall fair in October and a spring fair in April.

We've recently added several new direct exchanges including Limerick, Ireland; Bangkok, Thailand; Stuttgart, Germany; Buenos Aires, Argentina and Copenhagen,Sweden,Denmark, said Amy Johnson, adviser and outreach coordinator for the Office of International Programs. My experience abroad changed how I previously thought about everything from food to politics, said Russell Shackelford, a junior majoring in agriculture who studied abroad at University of Western Australia.Never leaving the northwestern United States before my study abroad experience meant I was in for a huge culture shock. But, overall, I definitely grew as a person and had the experience of a lifetime.
