Direct flights between Hanoi and Phu Quoc

Air Mekong will officially launch direct flights between Hanoi and Phu Quoc Island as from April 28, 2011.It will use Bombardier CRJ 900 which helps reduce flight time to more than two hours. Air ticket for economy class is VND2.273 million, excluding tax and fee, and this longest domestic flight will depart from Hanoi at 6am.

Air Mekong’s Chairman and CEO, Doan Quoc Viet said the new direct route will enable Air Mekong to tap the great tourism potential of Phu Quoc.During this summer, Air Mekong will also increase the number of flights between Hanoi and Da Lat to two at the weekend and those between Ho Chi Minh City and Con Dao, Pleiku and Phu Quoc.
