Flights to Seville launched by EasyJet

EasyJet is poised to boost access to southern Spain with the introduction of its first route to Seville.The first of four weekly flights to the city will depart from London Gatwick tomorrow 16 April.Seville is the capital of the Spanish region of Andalucia and is famous for its cultural and historical landmarks, including one of the world's largest medieval cathedrals.

Paul Simmons, easyJet's UK general manager, said the new route will make this 'beautiful' city more 'accessible and affordable' for travellers.EasyJet is the largest airline to flight from London Gatwick and the Seville route means we will now offer 92 destinations,' he added.This includes three more new routes which will be launching shortly to Izmir, Verona and Aberdeen, providing even more choice to leisure and business travellers.Using a fleet of 46 aircraft based at Gatwick, the carrier flies more than 11m passengers per year to destinations such as Barcelona, Dusseldorf, Milan and Amsterdam.Opodo cheap flights, hotels and car hire - let the journey begin!
