Lufthansa Increases flight to Beijing

German airline Lufthansa has announced it will increase its A380 Beijing flights to daily, offering customers more opportunities to fly on the luxury superjumbo.From 10th April, the Lufthansa A380 will flight daily to Beijing also known as Peking. Since the airline launched the A380 to Beijing in September last year, the aircraft has only been operating on several days in the week. However from April this will be a daily occurrence.

The airline said it has secured traffic rights with the support of Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development up to 29thOctober 2011.The A380 will depart daily at 17:20 in the evening from Frankfurt, arriving in Beijing at 08:30 in the morning the following day.The return flight will depart at 10:30 in the morning from Beijing, touching down in Frankfurt at 14:40 in the afternoon.The Lufthansa A380 has 8 First Class Seats and 98 Business Class seats for those who like to travel in style. The eight flat-bed seats in the First Class cabin can be adjusted to countless positions and lie completely horizontal to become a comfortable bed. There is sound insulation beneath the carpets to make sure the sound of footsteps is minimal and the air humidification system maintains a pleasant humidity. The higher humidity means no more dry skin, improved sleep and better tasting food. The spacious Lufthansa First Class bathrooms are like those in a luxury hotel and are some of the best in the skies.

The two-metre long Business Class seats equipped with massage function have a clever ‘shape system’ meaning they can be cleverly adjusted to the passenger’s position. The spacious cabin on the upper deck provides plenty of storage and shelf space as well as roomy baggage compartments.At Frankfurt Airport, First and Business Class passengers can relax in the priority gates at Terminal C before boarding the upper deck of the A380 via their very own bridge.The lounges are in the style of the Lufthansa Business Class lounges and there is also a Senator Lounge exclusive to First Class passengers, HON Circle members or Senators.
