The diverted flights returned to Ahmedabad late on Friday evening

More than six flights were diverted from Ahmedabad airport due to a storm that followed the sudden downpour on Friday evening.The flights between 5.30 pm and 7.30 pm were the most affected. Ahmedabad airport official said Air India flights from Delhi and Muscat were diverted to Mumbai. Two Indigo flights and one each of Spice Jet and Go Air were also diverted.The diverted flights returned to Ahmedabad late on Friday evening. TNN
