Singapore Airlines ups flights to Cape Town

SIA Airline has announced an additional weekly flight between Cape Town and Singapore, with a total of four flights a week on offer from 30 October 2011.The new flight will operate every Tuesday and with this additional flight SIA will operate every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday out of Cape Town to Singapore, via Johannesburg. SIA’s services between Johannesburg and Singapore remain unchanged at seven flights per week.

This new frequency will offer customers from Cape Town and surrounding areas more flight choices to Singapore, South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand as well as countries in North Asia.
All four weekly flights will depart Cape Town at 11h40 and arrive in Singapore, via Johannesburg, at 07h05 the following day. The return flight will depart Singapore at 02h35 and arrive in Cape Town, via Johannesburg, at 10h25.We are grateful for the continued support of our customers from the Cape on this route and are delighted that we now have the opportunity to offer both business and leisure travellers an additional choice of flight days, said General Manager Central and South Africa Mr Tein Po Looi.
