Flights restart at Dunedin Airport

Flights have started again at Dunedin International Airport after air traffic was suspended because of fog this morning.Five morning flights connecting Dunedin to Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland were cancelled.Airport chief executive John McCall said there was about 50m of visibility which prevented planes from taking off or landing. The situation has now improved and the 10.55am flight from Wellington landed followed by the 11am flight from Auckland. One of the flights showing earlier as cancelled the 8.20am to Christchurch has now boarded.
