Study in UK and receive up Scholarships

The University of Glamorgan currently offers generous scholarships of up to £7,500 for students from Sri Lanka. In January 2012 students can enrol on the popular BSc Hons Aircraft Maintenance Engineering degree and receive a scholarship of £2,500 every year off the cost of their fees. This equates to £7,500 over three years.Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is a very popular course and offers students an exciting and challenging career path. Thanks to a recent £1.8m investment programme, the aerospace engineering facilities are excellent. You will benefit from dedicated aircraft experience with real aircraft facilities. Glamorgan's Aircraft Maintenance Training Centre on the Treforest campus offers the latest facilities, complete with engineering labs, its own, full-size BAE Jetstream 31 commercial plane and an MP521 flight simulator.

This aircraft maintenance engineering degree course offers excellent career opportunities worldwide. The EASA Part-66 Licence qualifies its holders to be selected for further aircraft-type authorisation before being permitted to sign off aircraft for flight. You can gain employment throughout the UK and across the world with manufacturing companies, commercial airlines, air-taxi operators, flying schools, the armed forces and commercial long-haul flights. There is a growing market for maintenance, repair and overhaul of military and commercial aircraft, or you may choose sub-contract work.

The University of Glamorgan currently has over 35 students from Sri Lanka on campus and over 300 students from India. The university also has a wide number of postgraduate courses starting in February 2012 from MSc Management, MBA , Business BSc Hons Top ups to MSc Computer Science and MSc Embedded Systems Design.International Academic Scholarships of £2,000 are available for all Postgraduate students and £1,500 for the MBA.
