Flights delays in Lahore

LAHORE: The dense fog has brought to halt the hustle and bustle of Lahore and the adjoining areas since Saturday night while many international and domestic flights have also been delayed for hours.Motorway police sources said the motorway could not be opened due to thick fog and visibility standing at 0 level till Sunday noon.According to metrological office, due to dense haze and murky conditions many international and domestic flights were delayed. Flights from Abu Dhabi and Dubai were also diverted to Islamabad and Karachi airports, they said.

Motorway remained and it is still closed for all type of traffic while trains coming from Lahore also hit long hour delays, sources said.The minimum temperature recorded from last 24 hours in Lahore was 4 degrees centigrade, met office said forecasting, no imminent of downpours into next 24 hours.
