Southwest is adding flights to South Florida for the Super Bowl in addition to Delta and AirTran.
To help get you guys to and from the Big Game, we're adding two nonstops from Indianapolis to Ft. Lauderdale on Friday, February 5th which is a new nonstop market for us for Colts fans, with new return flights on Monday the 8th, Southwest's blog reports.We're also adding two extra nonstops between New Orleans and Ft. Lauderale on the 5th, and back on the 8th for the Saints faithful.
Delta and AirTran are adding flights to and from South Florida for the Super Bowl from the hometowns of the teams playing New Orleans and Indianapolis.Delta Air Lines is adding flights to and from Indianapolis and New Orleans to help carry the crush of fans heading to Florida for the Feb. 7 Super Bowl, The Associated Press reports.The world's largest airline is adding an additional flight on Feb. 4 and Feb. 5 from Indianapolis to Atlanta, in addition to its regular eight flights. Delta offers 11 daily flights from Atlanta to Miami.
On Feb. 8, Delta is adding two nonstop flights from Miami to Indianapolis. The airline is also adding a nonstop flight to Miami from New Orleans on Feb. 5 and two nonstop flights to New Orleans from Miami the day following the game.Low cost carrier AirTran Airways Tuesday announced it will add flights between Indianapolis and major South Florida airports to fly in Colts fans for the big game, South Florida's Sun-Sentinel reports.The airline is adding a Feb. 5 flight from Indianapolis to Miami International Airport, one to Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport on the morning of game day, and one flight from each airport to Indianapolis on Feb. 8.Rebecca Heslin
