Iran airlines corporation launches flights to Tehran-Doha

Iranian National Airline Corporation is to launch direct flight between Doha and Tehran using national aircrafts, said Iranian ambassador to Qatar Abdollah Sohrabi.The direct flights are now conducted by Qatar's Airways.The Chairman of the Iranian corporation Farhad Parvaresh is in Doha for an international aviation meeting has held talks with Qatari counterparts on joint aviation cooperation, Sohrabi told ISNA.

Consultations have been made for direct flights by Iranian aircrafts on the verge of Asian Cup to be hosted by Qatar.Parvaresh declared Iran's readiness to send cargo planes for goods transfer which could be used for agricultural produce, industrial goods, drugs and foodstuff, he added.
Also Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi invited by Qatar's Crown Prince Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani is to discuss bilateral economic, political, financial, banking, maritime, trade and aviation cooperation during his upcoming trip in next few days.Rahimi is to meet with Qatar's senior officials.
