Scholarships for Students

Scholarships were awarded to 39 UW-Eau Claire students for international travel during the spring 2012 semester. The UW-Eau Claire Foundation awards study abroad scholarships each semester ranging from $250-$1,000. Applicants must be degree-seeking students who have been accepted into the study abroad program. Recipients are chosen by a faculty and staff committee.

Area students accepted to study abroad are Stephanie Jauquet of Crivitz, James Alexander International Study Abroad $500 Grant for Australia. A sophomore, she is in elementary education.Chelsie Leslie of Niagara got the $500 Frances Kirby Family Memorial Scholarship to study in Italy. A sophomore, she is in graphic design.
