Ryanair add Bordeaux flights

The airline will also introduce flights to Edinburgh and Porto from the French airport, with the new routes set to commence on December 17th.It is expected that the flights will see an extra 200,000 people pass through Bordeaux Merignac Airport each year, a move that will sustain 200 jobs in the region.Ken O'Toole, of Ryanair, said that the flights will benefit Bordeaux's residents who will soon be able to travel all over Europe.

Bordeaux Airport accommodated over 3.5 million passengers last year, meaning that it is ranked as France's sixth most popular airport.As well as hosting hourly flights to Paris, it offers daily and weekly flights to a number of European and international destinations.Ryanair recently announced that it will launch additional flights to Paris Beauvais from Dublin and Shannon ahead of Ireland's World Cup playoff match on November 18th.
