Qatar Airways, a major airline in the Middle East, plans to operate daily non-stop flights between Seoul and Doha from the end of March, its Seoul office said yesterday. The non-stop operation will reduce travel time between the two cities by five hours to nine and half hours. Currently, Seoul is served via Osaka.
The Middle Eastern air carrier will expand its international operations this year to Tokyo, Bengaluru and Ankara. The Doha-based carrier also plans to fly to Copenhagen and Barcelona at the end of March, to meet with growing travel demand in the region, it added.
