Saudi Arabian Airlines plans big increase domestic flight frequencies from Nov

Saudi Arabian Airlines, KSA’s flag carrier, plans to dramatically increase domestic flight frequencies from November.According to a statement, the number of weekly flights between Riyadh and Abha will increase to 55 from 50. ‎Flights between Riyadh and Jazan will increase to 23 weekly from 17. There will be 22 flights weekly between Riyadh and Tabuk (up from‎‎ 18), 14 between Riyadh and Hail, and 11 between Riyadh and Baha.‎

Flights from Riyadh to international destinations will also increase. There will be seven flights weekly to Beirut, ‎nine flights to Bahrain, seven flights to Amman, five flights to ‎Doha and two flights to Sanaa.An increase has already been ‎made in flights from Riyadh to Cairo, Damascus and Dubai.Saudia plans to carry 20% more passengers this year than it did last year.The increase, if it comes off, is possible thanks to 24 newly purchased Airbus aircraft. The number of new aircraft to be received from Airbus should reach 39 by the ‎end of this year.The national carrier has signed agreements with ‎Airbus and Boeing to purchase a total of 82 new planes.
