Financial Aid study abroad programs

N.M.U. recently held a follow up to it's Study Abroad Fair.In what seems to be a growing global economy, it may be wise for some students to study abroad. The focus of the presentation was on funding a study abroad program.Representatives from the International Studies department, Financial Aid, and N.M.U. Foundation, were all on hand to provide tips on how to receive funding from scholarships and private sources. We like the students to know about their study abroad that while the perception is that it may cost more, it's not necessarily always the case that it cost more, and that there is help out there for them, and to not rule it out because they're afraid they can't afford it," says Suzanne Morgan, coordinator of international programs. If you are a student and would like to find out more, you can contact Northern Michigan University's International Program.
