Starting this summer, Air Canada will offer non-stop flights between Gander and Toronto.Marcel Forget, Air Canada’s vice-president of network planning, said in a news release today that the Gander-Toronto service will complement flights between Gander and Halifax, St. John’s and Goose Bay.
This flight will provide direct access to Air Canada's Toronto hub, said Gary Vey, president and CEO of the Gander International Airport Authority.For local residents and industry, it means better connectivity to Air Canada's expansive global network.The direct service starts June 18 with one flight per day on Air Canada’s 93-seat Embraer190 aircraft, with executive class and economy seats offered.
