Study abroad opportunities

Do you want to study abroad, but you are nervous about being away for a semester? Do you want to study abroad for a semester, but are unable to do so due to certain commitments? Then a SUMMER study abroad program is a great fit! Bellarmine offers many short-term summer study abroad options.These programs are typically between three and five weeks in length, earning three to six credit hours and varying in cost from $3000 to $6000 this normally includes airfare, accommodation, some meals and excursions, insurance, etc. It is a great option for General Education courses, Economics and Management requirements in the major or minor, or just to take an interesting course not available on campus.Students can also get a lot of exposure while studying in such universities and different course Engineering and Software Systems.

Bellarmine's main SUMMER study abroad options are via the Cooperative Center for Study Abroad (CCSA) and Kentucky Institute of International Studies. CCSA offers programs in English-speaking destinations such as the United Kingdom, South Africa, Hong Kong, Belize, Ghana, etc., and courses are taught in English and Master Course. KIIS offers study options in non-English speaking destinations, such as Argentina, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Morocco, etc. Courses are taught in English, but language courses are offered at several of these destinations.CCSA has two deadlines. Apply by Friday, February 11, 2011 and receive $100 off the program cost. The final CCSA deadline is Friday, February 25, 2011. KIIS also has two deadlines. Apply by January 20, 2010 and receive $100 off the program cost. The final KIIS deadline is Tuesday, February 15, 2011.
