Flights to Kenya launched by Etihad Airways

Etihad Airways Wednesday announced starting flights from Nairobi, Kenya its first destination in East Africa, said a press release.A daily flights from Abu Dhabi to Nairobi will begin from April 1, next year operated by two class A230 aircraft with 16 pearl business class and 120 coral economy seats.Nairobi becomes the 72nd destination in Etihad global network and the return flights will create a new link between the two capital cities of Kenya and the United Arab Emirates,and onwards to Pakistan.

The new route will allow Etihad to tap into large traffic flows between East Africa, North Asia,and the Indian subcontinent,the airlines chief executive James Hogan said.The upcoming flights will have daily connections from Karachi,Lahore and Islamabad from Pakistan facilitating the business travellers from both Kenya and Pakistan.
