Alaska flights to launch United Airlines

Travellers interested in visiting Alaska this year will be able to take advantage of new air links to the state with United Airlines.The summer services will connect Anchorage, the largest city in Alaska, to the carrier's hubs in Chicago, Denver and San Francisco.A once weekly Saturday flight from Chicago O'Hare to Anchorage will be the first operation to be launched on 22 May.

Between 9 June and 30 August, United Airlines will provide daily round trip services to Alaska from Chicago, Denver and San Francisco.An additional round-trip connection will be available from Chicago on Saturdays between 4 and 25 September.The airline revealed that the new schedule has been arranged to allow convenient connections with other services throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.United recently announced that 76.4% of its flights were on time in December, despite the inclement weather that hit the east coast and the Midwest during the month. cheap flights, hotels and car hire let the journey begin.
