Spanish flights increased by British Airway

British Airways going to increase the frequency of its new summer flights to Majorca and Ibiza from London City Airport.Less than a month after it first announced the services, the carrier confirmed that schedules will be extended to offer five flights to Majorca and four services to Ibiza every week in July and August.The new links to the Balearic Islands will be launched from London City Airport in May.

British Airways confirmed that the decision to increase frequency had been made following strong demand from passengers.The routes represent the airline's first leisure only flights from London City.Luke Hayhoe, commercial manager of subsidiary BA CityFlyer, said We are delighted with the response from passengers and our forward bookings demonstrate their commitment to these new leisure routes.It was always our intention to increase the frequency if the demand was there, now less than a month after announcing the new routes we can fulfil that promise.British Airways also operates exclusive business class flights to New York from London City Airport.
