United Airlines began non-stop Turkey flights

United will introduce first-time service to Turkey this weekend with daily, non-stop flights between Newark Liberty International Airport and Istanbul’s Ataturk International Airport.The new service is scheduled to start on Sunday. The flight to Turkey will take approximately nine hours, 53 minutes and will be slightly longer, 11 hours and seven minutes, returning to Newark.

The flights will initially use a Boeing 767-300 for the service. By late summer, United said it will begin using reconfigured versions of the Boeing jet more legroom in Economy Plus and flatbed seats in Business.First are among the changes to make the trip.United, which is based in Chicago, is the dominant carrier flying out of Newark Liberty.
