Grants for study-abroad

Southern Indiana Rotary clubs are accepting study-abroad scholarship applications through Friday.The Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarships provide financial assistance for people who want to study abroad in more than 200 countries.During their studies abroad, scholarship winners make appearances at Rotary clubs, schools and other forums and talk about their home countries to further international understanding.

The scholarships provide funding for one academic year abroad, including round-trip transportation, tuition and fees, room, board, some educational supplies, and language training, for a maximum award of $26,000.For more information and an application.Local Rotary clubs will accept applications from students living at or attending a college or university in the district that covers southern Indiana.
